Christmas Cards

Well, as many of you all know we have been dealing with a never ending stomach virus here at the McMorran house. That said, my attempt at taking Christmas pictures and getting cards together has not been successful. This year we will have to settle for an amateur photo shoot with a grouchy and sick little boy.

William also helped to decorate the Christmas tree last night while I wrapped presents. Here is a shot of his handiwork.

Enjoy!

It's fort time

William and Mike built a fort on Monday from the outdoor couch cushions and spent hours playing in it.

We Believe!

We went to the NORTH POLE!!!!!

This weekend we had the opportunity to take a magical trip on the Polar Express. We took a special train to the North Pole where we had hot chocolate, cookies, and sang songs. Once at the North Pole Santa met us and gave us magic jingle bells. It was an amazing night.

Thanksgiving

I know that this posting is long overdue but better late than never.

We had a wonderfully long Thanksgiving weekend with friends and family in California. We are grateful for the time and terrific company.

We spent Wednesday visiting family around town and then had a relaxing lunch with the Mapstead’s. We all had a lot of fun watching the boys play together.

Thanksgiving Day was spent in Anza at William’s Great Aunt and Uncle’s home. It was wonderful to be with family and to see all of the second cousin’s interact with one another. It was pretty cold in Anza but the rain held off and William was able to play on the tractors, pet the horses, and to run in the yard with his cousin Hunter.

We spent Friday at the Palm Springs Tram, which was fun but a BIG mistake the day after Thanksgiving. It appeared that everyone in S. California had the same idea! Uncle David and the McMorran’s joined us for the fun and cold. There was snow at the top of the mountain and the kids LOVED every moment. It was a crazy day but well worth it.

The rest of the weekend was filled with family, Scrabble, and a lot of laughs.
