Jedi Nights

Our nights are spent with the boys either playing Dino-Dodgeball or Jedi Fights...they usually don't let me video their special play time but I was able to catch this a few weeks ago.

Another Black Eye

Uh, my boy is a bruiser! William managed to give himself a black eye the other night in an attempt to make himself a glass of apple juice. The jug of juice was pulled off the pantry shelf onto his foot and (in a knee jerk reaction) when William bent down to grab his sore toes he hit his eye on the shelf. Poor guy!

A few of my favorite things

Here are some shots of William participating in some of his favorite activities. William loves swimming with his daddy, visiting the Phx Children’s Museum, and drumming…what a life!

A Weekend Apart

Mike and I took quick weekend trip to Austin, TX this past weekend for the wedding of two very good friends. Although we’ve both been without William since his birth it was our first weekend alone together in over 19 months. William’s Gpa and Gma M came to watch over him (and SPOIL HIM ROTTEN) while we were away. William had an amazing time with his grandparents and it has become very apparent to us that he ruled the roost while we were away.

Mike and I had a wonderful time as well in Austin visiting with old friends and Mike’s siblings/families. We were able to spend time with our nephew Owen and learned a wonderful little secret about our new niece. She even kicked for her Auntie’s on Friday night. Matt and Amy’s wedding was absolutely spectacular and they both glowed all weekend long. We were very grateful to be witness to the beginning of this new chapter in their lives. Mike and I enjoyed our time alone but missed our little man. We are sure to return to Austin in the future but next time will be as a whole family.

Crane

After 31 years of service, our a/c finally quit on us this past weekend. Although we were not happy about having to replace the unit, we are thankful that it went out now instead of the middle of the summer when temperatures can reach up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (it’s only been 90-95 this past week). We had it replaced today with a new more efficient unit. The a/c unit is on the roof so they had to bring out a crane to replace it. William loved seeing the crane in action. Here are a couple of quick shots.

Scary!

AZ Family Weekend

We had a visit last weekend from Mike’s Uncle Tom and Aunt Linda which allowed us to spend a lot of quality time with our family here in Arizona. We had a great time hanging out, going to cousin Reed’s soccer game, and to lunch at Tortilla Flats.

The Gang (minus a few)
