To all of our family and friends:
This year our Christmas “cards” will be substituted with an email as our family has endured a number of ailments in the past 3 weeks and we were unable to complete the traditional Christmas cards. But we would like to take a moment to wish all of our family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Our family has been blessed this year with the wonderful gift of our son. We have delighted in watching William grow and develop into a little boy. He is a bright little man with a contagious smile and warm spirit. William loves to sing, dance, and play the guitar with his daddy. He talks constantly in his own little gibberish of a language and will tell elaborate stories to all who will listen. Recently, he has learned several signs (such as eat, drink, kitty, baby, please, etc) which has greatly aided in our communications with each other. William is walking, well running actually, everywhere now and loves to chase his kitty around the house. Having our own son has made us realize what a special gift God gave to us in his own son, Jesus. William has filled a place in our hearts so large that we never even imagined was there. We thank God every day for the miracle of His son and of ours.
Mike and I are doing well also. We are thankful for constancy during these difficult economic times. Mike’s company continues to do well and I am still working part-time from home so that I can be with William. We have also added two new members to our family in 2008. In August, my brother Greg married his long time girlfriend, Brenna in Sun Valley, Idaho. I now have 3 sisters (in-law) and could not be happier. And in the past two weeks we have welcomed our very first nephew to the family. Mike’s sister, Kate and her husband, Sean delivered a healthy little boy (Owen Robert Anderson) on December 12th in Pottsboro, Texas.
We are grateful for all that we have been given. We wish we could be with you all this holiday season but know that you are in our hearts and prayers. We love you all.
Merry Christmas and Happy 2009!
Love Jenni, Mike, and William
